British Council Announces the Start of the Film Lab Africa Showcase Season

Film Lab Africa will be announcing the outcome of its successful programme in Nigeria. The programme featured 60 participants; 20 emerged winners and were awarded £5000 grants to produce their films. 10 produced short films while 10 created microfilms shot with a smartphone. British Council will be celebrating these aspiring and talented film makers as well as their productions with a series of premieres in Nigeria and the UK.

We hereby invite the press and film reviewers to the Lagos Premieres:

SHORT FILM PREMIERE:

Showcasing the 10 short films produced by the winning participants

Date: 28th of August 

Venue:  Nigerian International Film and TV Summit (NiFS); Legend Hotel, Quits Aviation Services, Airport Road, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria

Time: 3pm

* Event starts with a Panel Discussion followed by the movie premiere.
